Original watercolor painting of a Welsh farmer’s loyal little companion.   Painted during the quiet days of the Covid lockdown while I was studying Welsh, this piece captures a small Jack Russell Terrier who worked alongside a Welsh farmer.

Creating it became a way of learning not only the language, but also the spirit of Wales — its landscapes, its humor, and the hardworking, talented people who call it home.
